Job Title: Credit Controller

Salary: £25-27,000

Key Duties:

* Manage and maintain customer accounts, including setting credit limits and monitoring account balances
* Investigate and resolve customer disputes and discrepancies
* Communicate with customers to collect overdue payments and negotiate payment plans
* Prepare and send out invoices and statements
* Monitor and report on credit risk and make recommendations to management
* Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
* Keep accurate records of customer transactions and account activity
* Process credit applications and make credit decisions

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a credit controller or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting and credit control principles
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
* Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
* Strong numerical skills and ability to work with financial data
* Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (preferred)
