Salary: £25-27,000 (experience dependent)

Location: Sevenoaks

My client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Administrator to join their friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the dispatching of goods and materials, as well as managing the flow of inventory and ensuring timely delivery of orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, with specific experience in dispatching, and will be able to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and manage the dispatching of goods and materials to various destinations
* Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of all transactions
* Collaborate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of orders
* Communicate with drivers and other logistics personnel to ensure efficient transportation of goods
* Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize operations and reduce costs
* Identify and troubleshoot logistical issues and implement solutions
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of logistics operations, and develop reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, with specific experience in dispatching
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and build effective relationships with external partners
* Knowledge of logistics software and systems
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
* Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, as needed
