An excellent opportunity is available for a Duty Contact Centre Manager for an important NHS organisation that support the community with emergency services. This role is managing a large team of advisors in a fast paced, dynamic contact centre fully on site in their new offices in Gillingham, Kent.


Your new role

You will manage a team of 30-50 individuals including team leaders, senior advisors and health advisors to deliver organisational and national performance metrics and supporting the community with emergency services. You will be involved in monitoring the demand levels and applying escalation procedures. You will deal with the delivery of KPis and SLAs and absence manager, rotas and performance management.

You will work in a large 24/7 operation in a high pressure environment, shifts for this role will vary and be onsite so you will need to be local to Gillingham and able to work varied hours during the week, evening and weekends.


What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful you must have significant recent experience as a Team Manager within a Contact Centre environment, competent in dealing with a wide range of contact centre specific processes, systems and upselling agents/team leaders. You will have worked in a fast paced KPI focussed organisation and have experience improving processes and working to SLA targets.


What you'll get in return

In return you will be offered a competitive salary of £33,700 - £40,800 plus bonus of £5,700 for late shift allowance. You will be offered generous benefits including an NHS pension, 35 days of annual leave including bank holidays and free parking on site. Hours are 37.5 hours a week fully on site, with varied shift rotas throughout the week, evening, weekend and occasional bank holidays.
