Our not-for-profit client is recruiting an HR Advisor / Officer to join their offices in Lewisham on a temporary basis for 3 months, plus extension or perm opportunities.

Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting the HRBP's in providing a professional and comprehensive HR service to designated directorates within the organisation and to provide seamless, customer focused HR and ER service to managers and staff throughout the complete employee lifecycle.
Duties will include:

* Provide fist line HR advice, support and guidance on employee terms, conditions, policies and procedures.
* Supporting trade union consultations and negotiations in respect of change management, TUPE, and amendments to terms and conditions of service.
* Build relationships, support and develop managers to build capability through regular interventions including training initiatives, briefings and informal coaching with all HR policies and processes
* To independently manage complex casework across the full range of HR Advisory work including TUPE.
* Support and manage the employee lifecycle by collaborating with Recruitment, Systems and Training teams.
* Processing all payroll forms and ensure all payroll deadlines are met.
* Assist in HR projects as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be Level 5 CIPD qualified and must have proven history as an HR generalist ideally having held a role as an HR Adviser or HR Officer with experience of working with Trade Unions, ideally within the public sector. You must also be immediately available to start in October.

What you'll get in return
Flexible & hybrid working is available for this role. Paying £19/20 per hour PAYE.
