Job Information

An award winning, internet service provider in the telecoms industry for more than 25 years are now looking to expand their team with with a Pre-Sales Technical Solutions Architect.

This role will play a pivotal role working alongside the Business Development team in understanding our customer`s needs, designing tailored telecom solutions, and driving the pre-sales process to ensure customers receive the best-in-class connectivity services through innovation while owning the solution into delivery and ensuring consistency throughout.

As a subject matter expert, you will have significant experience of working in the Telecoms and Internet Service Provider sector. With extensive experience working in collaborative teams across sales, technical, engineering, and operations, you will be customer facing and confident working directly with top tier customers, including the ability to articulate technical solutions with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Customer needs assessment:Through collaboration with customers to understand their business goals and challenges and transforming these into technology-based solutions.
- Solutions architecture: Developing tailored solutions that align with customer objectives, budgets and constraints, detailing any assumptions.
- Pre-Sales support: Assisting the sales team in presenting and explaining solutions, ensuring a clear understanding of the proposed services.
- Proposal development: Collaborating with the Sales team to create comprehensive and compelling proposals, which may include technical specifications, pricing and potential implementation timelines.
- Technical expertise: Maintaining a deep understanding of the latest telecom technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations, working with technical and engineering teams to develop products and services.
- Provide technical leadership: Sharing knowledge and skills, provide mentoring to internal and external stakeholders.
- Understand the market position:To include key customers and competitors, using market intelligence to provide input into key strategic management information.
- Engage with product development: Recommending products and services to meet customer requirements and develop business.
- Attend customer meetings: Supporting the business development.
- Interface cross teams: Articulating customer requirement ensuring smooth transition from through delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical pre-sales and solutions architecture within the telecom`s ISP sector.
- Track record of preparing solution architecture designs and costs to meet customer expectations within budgets.
- Strong knowledge of telecom technologies, including Wireless, Broadband, VoIP, Cloud services, and Network infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for clients.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- UK driver`s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
