My client are looking for a highly motivated and experienced finance director to join our SME construction business (based in East Kent). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.

Your new role

* Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
* Manage the company's cash flow and working capital.
* Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
* Provide financial analysis and guidance to the senior management team.
* Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
* Ensure that the company's financial systems and processes are efficient and effective.

What you\'ll need to succeed

* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, may consider QBE
* Experience working in the construction sector is essential.
* Experience managing and running a finance function
* Strong leadership
* Excellent communication

What you\'ll get in return
The Finance Director\'s role is paying circa £80,000 + other benefits and flexible working options available.
