Job Description Summary

Role Overview: This position involves overseeing daily finance operations, treasury, accounts payable (AP) teams, and systems controls. The role is also responsible for month-end closing, audit oversight, investor reporting, and participating in Finance-related and broader company projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in statutory accounting and reporting for consolidated and individual legal entity financial statements.
- Support monthly closing and reporting, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong control and review of accounting processes and balance sheets.
- Provide operational support and team management, including purchase ledger and banking oversight.
- Contribute to finance-related wider projects.
- Lead systems and process changes, managing transitions.
- Support periodic and year-end audits, serving as a main contact for audit queries.
- Stay updated on financial reporting standards and regulations, including FRS102.
- Prepare, review, and ensure compliance with corporation tax and VAT returns.
- Support senior members of the finance function.

Person Specification:

- Must be a qualified accountant with forward-thinking capabilities.
- Should be a good team player, flexible, and self-motivated.
- Requires excellent communication skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
