Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Dover, Kent
Salary: Circa £47,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of our company and ensure we are operating efficiently and profitably. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a Finance Manager and a Finance Reporting Manager.
Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the financial operations of the company and provide strategic guidance to senior management.
* Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, including a Finance Manager and a Finance Reporting Manager.
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
* Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
* Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial statements and tax returns.
* Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
* Continuously monitor and improve financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - desirable.
* At least 5 years of experience in a senior finance role.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience with financial reporting and analysis tools.
* Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
