We are recruiting on behalf of one of our long established clients for a Workshop Operative to work in the Fabrication department of an engineering company based in Medway Towns.

Your role will involve assisting the workshop section leader in all aspects of carrying out daily production tasks in a timely and efficient way, ensuring that clients' needs and expectations are met.

You will have experience of working in a metal workshop environment. Experience of operating machine tools such as Press Brake, Guillotine, Rollers etc. would be very advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

In addition to this you will be a team player, proactive and be well organised.

Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 08.00-16.30 and Friday 08.00-15.30.

The position is initially on a temporary basis with an opportunity for permanent employment after a qualifying period, for the right candidate.
