Location: Home-based with occasional travel to Ashford, Kent
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (up to 18 hours per week)

The National Careers Service provides free, professional careers information, advice and guidance to help individuals move forward with their careers and is delivered by CXK across the south-east region.

We are looking for highly motivated, target driven individuals with strong communication skills together with previous contact centre and/or customer service experience. Strong IT skills, including experience of databases is essential.

This is a flexible home-based opportunity, however, candidates will be required to attend meetings in Ashford, Kent when required.

Shifts are available on weekdays until 8pm and between 10am and 5pm on Saturdays. They can be flexible within these time periods.

Main Responsibilities:

- Handle outgoing calls for the National Careers Service obtaining client information, interviewing clients and verify information as needed ensure all administrative processes associated with NCS are effectively carried out.
- Provide excellent customer service and use of soft skills to engage customers during phone calls
- Meet the requirements of contracts ensuring targets are met around volume of calls, tracking outcomes and any other targets as set by Area Manager.
- Communicate by phone and email with clients and Careers Advisers on all aspects of the National Careers Service and ensure that all enquires are logged and responded to in the correct manner.
- Input all required data into the Cognisoft database, YETI, as needed and ensure all relevant communications, records and data are updated and recorded.
