This fantastic, supportive and friendly accountancy firm near Rye, has been incredibly well established for many years with multiple offices! They value the staff and the people highly and even offer study packages to guide you through your qualifications.

They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their developing team! Previous experience within practice is necessary to be able to jump straight into the role and aid any junior accountants which may need your support. Qualifications are not a necessity but ideally seeking someone who has started AATs.

Main responsibilities include and are not limiting to: Preparation of sole trade, partnership & company accounts from client record; as well as preparation and submission of VAT return and tax computations.

A successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organisational and timekeeping skills are a necessity, and great knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial.

Salary is flexible & based on experience but sits between £25,000 - £30,000 (+bonus + benefits) and due to increase based on longevity, KPIs and qualifications.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and they work in a hybrid format going into the office 2-3 days a week!
