We are working with an established and successful manufacturing company in the Medway area to resource for an experienced candidate to join the team. You will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support manufacturing operations. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in optimising the supply chain, reducing costs, and maintaining high-quality standards.

As an analytical and strategic thinker, you will possess strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach and a keen eye on continuous improvement. Candidates applying should be educated to Degree level, or equivalent - possessing a Masters would be advantageous. Your negotiation abilities will be key to the success in this role along with the understanding of supply chain principles and market dynamics. It would be ideal to be certified in procurement or supply chain - eg CSCP, CPIM, CIPS.
